As someone who used to be an employee of this hospital, I encourage everyone to avoid this hospital if they can. The staff is unsafe, the MD's never return calls and the Nursing Administration roll almost every issue under the rug. Of course, there are exceptions to every facility, I can say I very much respect Dr Bailey, but I had to leave due to the risk of losing my RN license...it was that bad!
Worst hospital. Heartless unpassionate bunch of people. So what you have been in there multiply times. The hospital is here to help people not look down at them for being here several times. I would never go to this hospital.
Went to the ER Saturday the 19. The Dr and my nurse were great. But one nurse working in the ER I believe her name is Nat was talking really loud about about very crude sexual acts and making jokes of some of the people there seeking help. Very unprofessional. I will be contacting the hospital.
Very slow with seeing people it's a hospital but people there genuinely care about your well being. Very helpful and kind staff. Went there to receive help for husband and children when we where homeless and they helped us tremendously. Can never thank them enough for there kindness and generosity. Would recommend because of these experiences.
It's a hit or miss here. Sometimes the staff is really friendly and sometimes they're not. For the most part it's a good hospital but anything serious then I would go to Allegheny general
